Pankaj is responsible for managing the credit investment team, overseeing the origination, structuring, and execution of new private debt transactions. With over two decades of experience, he has underwritten successful credit and equity investments throughout the Asia Pacific region. His experience includes high-yield private credit, special situations, loan portfolios, and the development of lending platforms. During his 15+ year tenure at Deutsche Bank’s Strategic Investments Group, he led opportunistic investments, managing transactions across a broad spectrum of asset classes in key markets including Australia, New Zealand, and numerous Asian nations. This included senior and mezzanine lending, as well as junior/equity investments in corporate loans, commercial real estate, SME finance, and consumer lending. Pankaj holds an MBA in Finance, IT & Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi.
